Book Review Goodness! Freebie!

As summer approaches, many teachers are looking forward to their to-do list or to-read list for the nice 2 month break :) I have an awesome suggestion for your list!

My school bought each grade level this book:

This book is #1 not super expensive (yay!!!) and #2 awesome for giving lessons that align with common core but are not labor intensive for the teacher either. I love the way that it's laid out throughout the book. The bulk of the book is broken down by the type of text: literature, informational, foundational skills. Within each of these sections they are broken down by reading anchor and then by grade level so that the expectation is appropriate for the grade level. It's FABULOUS!! I would so recommend this book to any grade level. It is excellent! I hope you look it up and enjoy.  To go along with one of the ideas, I created this awesome Venn Diagram that you can grab!

What book is on your summer list?
