Delicious Math for 3-D shapes

My kids had the BEST time in math today! Seriously y'all, 2 days in a row with math and food. They are in HOG HEAVEN right now.. Totally a southern phrase right?

We have been working on our 3-D shape knowledge and they have been doing fantastic. Yesterday we built 3-d shapes with marshmallows and toothpicks. Today we graphed them.

They did such an amazing job!! I am super proud of my kiddos for accepting the challenges I give them with enthusiasm. They gave it their all!

I will tell you the secret to making this a success is to prep it all before so that the kids ALL have their own bag that have the EXACT same number of objects. Then you can do it all together. Their first couple of graphing activities I do together like this. After about 3-4, I transition into the grab and graph activities.
