What do you do on Spring Break? Shop for next year of course!

How do you spend your Spring Break? Our budget is usually not very vacation-friendly so we get to hang out at home and relax... which means working on school stuff of course! I love my vacation times since I tend to get way more work done on my blog and TPT store.

My very first day of break I spent shopping with my best friends. First stop? The School Box :D I went to get the items I need for next year so I can start prepping. Here are my top items that I bought:

I needed a new classroom job chart. The one I have now has been used for 6 years and is looking a tad bit worn and ratty. I loved this one because it was cute, colorful, and can be stacked on top of each other. I keep my chart on the front of one of my cabinets. This will do great on one side of the cabinets. Plus, I'm hoping to incorporate daily "mail" to welcome each day. (More on this later!) It will be so cute!

In Kindergarten we hang our work out in the hallway on large construction paper for each child. These papers have name plates on the top of them for the students' names. I decided to pick these up to since the whole thing needs to be laminated before being hung.

I also went ahead and picked up the matching border to hangup on the bulletin strips behind the student work papers.

What would my matching theme be without these as well?

These will be for the first day of school :) The kids love knowing that I am learning their name and the lunch ladies love being able to read the students names. We actually do name tags for the first two weeks of school. This year we even picked up these cool things from the dollar store:

You can buy the cool metal clips so that they can be used over and over. It makes it much easier at the beginning of the day too!

I'd love if you'd leave a comment and let me know what you buy for the beginning of the year.
